João Pessoa expands housing program with 400 new homes

The City Hall of João Pessoa is expanding its municipal housing program with the construction of 400 new homes. The projects, named Residenciais Jardins dos Coqueiros I and II, will be located in the Gramame neighborhood and involve an investment of R$ 68 million.

The proposals were approved by the Ministry of Cities and published in the Official Gazette of the Union. The developments will be executed through a partnership between the João Pessoa City Hall and the Federal Government under the ‘Minha Casa, Minha Vida’ program.

Following the approval, the next steps include the contracting of a construction company and the signing of necessary documents. Construction is expected to begin between the end of this year and the beginning of 2027.
