João Pessoa hosts photography exhibition for city anniversary

The City Hall of João Pessoa has launched the photography exhibition ‘Meu Lugar em João Pessoa – Especial 441 anos’ (My Place in João Pessoa – Special 441 Years). The exhibition, which runs from August 28 to September 13, features 20 selected photographs at the Hotel Globo in the Historic Center.

The project was conceived by the Secretariat of Economic Development and Labor (Sedest) in partnership with Rede Paraíba. A total of 1,146 photographs were submitted for the contest held in honor of the capital's anniversary. The final selection was chosen by an evaluation committee to showcase various perspectives on landscapes, historical sites, and tourist landmarks that hold significance for residents and visitors.
