Furthering the city's anniversary celebrations, the photography exhibition ‘Meu Lugar em João Pessoa – Especial 441 anos’ (My Place in João Pessoa – Special 441 Years) has been organized through a partnership between the Secretariat of Economic Development and Labor (Sedest), the Cultural Foundation (Funjope), and Rede Paraíba. Following a contest that received 1,146 entries between July 28 and August 5, an evaluation committee selected 20 photographs capturing landscapes, historical sites, and local memories. The exhibition is scheduled to open at the Hotel Globo on Friday, August 28, and will remain open to the public for free until September 13.
