João Pessoa implements urban revitalization and social programs

The municipal government of João Pessoa is implementing several urban and social initiatives. In the Historic Center, the administration presented revitalization plans to the State Public Ministry of Accounts, including a new georeferenced platform for property monitoring and fiscal incentives for building recovery.

Social and infrastructure efforts include the inauguration of a new Community Kitchen in Alto do Mateus, capable of serving 300 daily meals, and the announcement of a new Popular Restaurant in Valentina. Additionally, the city has expanded its Civil Guard by appointing 51 new officers to enhance security in the Historic Center, the coastline, and environmental areas.

Maintenance and environmental programs are also underway, with cleaning and painting services in various neighborhood squares and an environmental education initiative at Residencial Vista Alegre. Furthermore, the federal government has delivered seven new ambulances to the state of Paraíba to improve sanitary transport for specialized medical treatments.
