Municipalities in Manaus and João Pessoa have implemented special measures for public cemeteries to accommodate visitors during Father's Day.

In Manaus, ten municipal cemeteries will be open from 6:00 to 18:00. The city has deployed approximately 600 professionals to provide support, including cleaning, maintenance, hydration points, and religious programming such as masses and musical performances.

In João Pessoa, public cemeteries will be open from 6:00 to 17:00. Authorities expect approximately 40,000 visitors across five cemeteries. Preparations include cleaning, landscaping, and repairs coordinated by Sedurb, Emlur, and Seinfra. Religious services, including masses at Cemitério Senhor da Boa Sentença and Cemitério Santa Catarina, are scheduled. Additionally, health services such as blood pressure monitoring and glucose testing will be available for visitors, specifically the elderly. Security will be reinforced by the Metropolitan Civil Guard, the Secretariat of Urban Security and Citizenship, and the Military Police.
