Jordanian Unified Admission Unit announces 41,844 university seats

The Unified Admission Coordination Unit has announced that over 58,000 applications have been submitted for undergraduate university admissions. For the current academic year, approximately 41,844 students are expected to be accepted into bachelor's degree programs, while 10,173 seats are allocated for intermediate diploma programs.

Regarding medical studies, the Higher Education Council has set the number of medical students at 640 and dentistry students at 320. This follows a gradual reduction plan implemented over the last four years to align student numbers with university capacities and ensure academic quality.

Additionally, the unit announced the commencement of applications for the Royal Beneficiary Program, which supports students from Badia schools and those in special circumstances. This year, 537 schools are eligible for the program. The admission process has been updated with new software to accommodate the new dual-track high school system, aiming to minimize errors during the application process.
