Journalists have located Mexican businessman Jorge Amílcar Olán Aparicio living in Lugano, Switzerland. Reports indicate he was residing in a luxury property in the Swiss financial center, which has been listed for rent at approximately 15,000 Swiss francs per month, exceeding 300,000 Mexican pesos.

Olán Aparicio has been linked in investigative reports to the inner circle of former Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, specifically regarding lucrative government contracts and business dealings involving the former president's sons. He has also been associated with allegations involving fuel theft operations.

Mexican Senator Óscar Cantón Zetina commented on the high cost of the residence, noting that while he personally could not afford such rent, it is not appropriate to judge those with the financial means to do so. The property, a 200-square-meter residence with terraces, has since reappeared on the rental market.
