José Mourinho establishes core starters at Real Madrid

José Mourinho has established a core group of regular starters during his second tenure at Real Madrid. Despite stating a desire to maintain internal competition and avoid a fixed ideal eleven, several players have become consistent fixtures in the lineup.

Thibaut Courtois remains the undisputed starter in goal, having played every official minute this season. In the attacking line, Kylian Mbappé has been a mainstay, contributing seven goals and one assist. He is joined in the preferred formation by Jude Bellingham, who has maintained high regularity with three goals and three assists.

Vinícius Júnior and Fede Valverde also form part of this core group. While Vinícius has faced challenges with fan confidence, Mourinho has continued to start the Brazilian. Valverde has regained his status within the squad following previous disciplinary and physical issues. Other players frequently appearing in the rotation include Marc Cucurella and Ousmane Diomande.
