Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii welcomes Mark Nawaqanitawase to Wallabies

Wallabies player Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii has expressed support for the potential inclusion of Mark Nawaqanitawase in the Australian rugby union squad. Suaalii welcomed the increased internal competition that Nawaqanitawase and fellow former Roosters player Angus Crichton would bring to the backline.

Nawaqanitawase, who recently completed a successful two-season stint in the NRL with the Sydney Roosters, is considered a significant talent who could compete for a wing spot at the upcoming World Cup in Australia. While Nawaqanitawase is eligible to play for Fiji or Italy, his transition to rugby union could bolster the Wallabies' roster. Suaalii noted that Nawaqanitawase’s unique skill set from the NRL would be a great addition to the team.
