Joseph Brot and Resch&Frisch partner for nationwide organic bakery expansion

Austrian bakery companies Joseph Brot and Resch&Frisch have entered into a strategic partnership to launch three organic baked goods made from native ancient grains. Starting September 14, 2026, the products will be available nationwide through the Resch&Frisch home delivery service and Back’s Zuhause.

The new product range includes Bio-Bircher-Müsli-Weckerl made with ancient spelt, Bio-Brioche-Bagels using Sipbachzeller wheat, and Bio-Korn-Krusti featuring Lungau Tauern rye. The collaboration aims to combine Joseph Brot’s expertise in organic craftsmanship with Resch&Frisch’s extensive distribution and delivery network.

To ensure freshness, the products are 80 percent pre-baked and delivered frozen, allowing customers to finish baking them at home. The partnership focuses on utilizing Austrian raw materials and supporting domestic agriculture and value creation.
