Josh Widdicombe joins Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe as new Strictly Come Dancing host

Comedian Josh Widdicombe has been confirmed as the newest presenter of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, sharing the role with television presenter Emma Willis and professional dancer Johannes Radebe. The three‑person hosting team replaces long‑time anchors Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, marking the first time the flagship dance competition will be fronted by a trio.

Widdicombe, known for his work on The Last Leg and various panel shows, comes to Strictly after a career that began in journalism and children's publishing, progressed through stand‑up comedy competitions, and led to regular TV appearances. He will balance his new duties with his ongoing role on The Last Leg, which continues into 2026.
