Josip Škorić sentenced in Croatian bribery and procurement scandal

Josip Škorić, the former head of Hrvatske ceste, has reached a plea agreement with USKOK regarding a bribery scandal involving the company Chemosignal. Škorić was sentenced to 11 months in prison, which has been commuted to community service. He was also ordered to pay a 15,000 euro fine and forfeit 6,000 euros in illicit gains.
