Joyn announces second season of reality series ‘The Power’

The streaming service Joyn has announced the second season of its strategy reality show, ‘The Power – Wer hat die Macht?’, scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Following the success of the first season, which became the platform’s most-viewed original, the new season will consist of 50 episodes.

Due to weather challenges during the production of the first season in Greece, the production has moved to a luxury villa in Thailand. The core gameplay remains centered on a secret ‘Power Player’ who is granted absolute authority each week to decide on rewards, punishments, and nominations. If a nominated participant successfully unmasks the secret Power Player, the roles are reversed and the Power Player is eliminated.

Produced by Redseven Entertainment for Joyn, the series will be available on the streaming platform and broadcast on ProSieben. Participants will compete for a prize of 40,000 euros.
