Joyn reality series ‘The Power’ second season announcement

Overview

The streaming service Joyn has announced the second season of its strategy reality show, ‘The Power – Wer hat die Macht?’, which is scheduled to premiere on October 20, 2026. The new season will consist of 50 episodes and will be broadcast on ProSieben.

Following the first season, which was filmed in Greece, production has moved to a luxury villa in Thailand. The competition involves a secret ‘Power Player’ who holds authority over rewards and punishments, while participants attempt to unmask them to reverse roles.

Fourteen contestants, including several reality television veterans such as Iris Katzenberger and Lucas Cordalis, will compete for a prize of 40,000 euros. The series is set to air following the conclusion of the ‘Promi Big Brother’ season.
