CJP protest in Delhi prompts police warnings and brief meeting with JP Nadda

The Cockerocch Janata Party (CJP) organised a large "Chalo Sansad" march in Delhi during the monsoon session of Parliament. Demonstrations were held at Jantar Mantar and around the parliament precinct, leading police to set up barricades, close the Vijay Chowk gate and increase security. Delhi Police appealed for a peaceful protest, urging demonstrators and the public to avoid rumors and follow officials' instructions.

CJP leaders Ashutosh Ranka and Abhijit Dipke waited two hours before meeting BJP president JP Nadda at his residence, where they presented a written memorandum of demands. Nadda told the group the government would discuss the issues internally, though no concrete assurances were given. The protest also saw opposition MPs joining the march, and several participants, including SP MPs Dimple Yadav and Dharmendra Yadav, were taken into police custody.

The party claimed its demands include a fair enquiry into the "Net Paper" leak, the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and action on unemployment and exam delays. Spokesperson Saurabh Das warned, "हम यह लड़ाई जरूर जीतेंगे!" while police warned against any unlawful or violent activity.
