Jürgen Klopp announces Germany squad for Nations League

New German national football team coach Jürgen Klopp has announced his squad nominations for the 2026/27 Nations League season. Following the team's exit from the 2026 World Cup, Klopp is implementing a unique strategy involving two distinct squad lists.

The first group of players will compete in the opening matches against the Netherlands on September 24, 2026, and Greece on September 27, 2026. The squad for these initial fixtures includes goalkeepers Finn Dahmen, Alexander Nübel, and Marc-André ter Stegen, alongside defenders such as Nico Schлотterbeck and Jonathan Tah, and midfielders including Joshua Kimmich and Jamal Musiala.
