JSW MG Motor India begins deliveries of Hector Tomahawk EV

JSW MG Motor India has commenced deliveries for the MG Hector Tomahawk EV, marking a local milestone with 50 customers receiving their keys simultaneously in Surat.

The electric SUV is available in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations across three main variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence. Pricing for the vehicle starts at 19.49 lakh rupees (ex-showroom) for a standard purchase. Alternatively, the company offers a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, which reduces the upfront cost to 13.99 lakh rupees, supplemented by a battery rental fee of 4.9 rupees per kilometer.

Technical specifications include a 69.2 kWh battery paired with a single motor producing 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The vehicle boasts a claimed range of 517 km under the MIDC cycle and supports 90 kW DC fast charging, capable of replenishing the battery from 20% to 80% in 35 minutes. Interior features include a 15.6-inch infotainment system and ventilated front seats.
