JSW seeks 1.066 billion PLN loan from ARP for restructuring

Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (JSW) has announced its intention to apply for a loan of up to 1.066 billion PLN from the Industrial Development Agency (ARP).

This proposed financing is intended to replace a previous transaction involving the sale of shares in PBSz and stakes in JZR to the ARP. The company plans to use the loan proceeds to fund operations during a restructuring period, which includes efforts to reduce operating costs and optimize the functioning of the JSW capital group.

The final approval of the loan remains subject to the ARP's financial and legal analyses, the agreement of financing documentation, and necessary approvals from JSW's financing institutions.
