Juchheim and Ishii Food launch additive-free chestnut dessert

Juchheim and Ishii Food Co., Ltd. have announced the second release of their “Slash Zero Lab” collaboration, a project focused on food manufacturing without the use of food additives.

The new product, a “Japanese Chestnut Kinton Mont Blanc,” will be released on October 10 at select Juchheim locations in Japan. The release is limited to 10,000 units.

The dessert utilizes non-standard Japanese chestnuts produced by Ishii Food. These chestnuts are deemed “non-standard” due to natural color variations resulting from a lack of bleaching or coloring agents, though they remain high in quality and flavor. The Mont Blanc features eight layers of flavor, including two types of chestnut cream with varying concentrations of chestnut paste, alongside elements like cassis and nuts.
