Judicial Council assigns 14 judges to Montenegrin basic courts
The Judicial Council has elected and assigned 14 judges to various basic courts across Montenegro. Following a ranking list and candidate statements, 12 judges were assigned to courts in the central and southern regions, including locations such as Herceg Novi, Nikšić, Bar, Kotor, Bijelo Polje, and Rožaje.
Three candidates—Vasilije Krunić, Slađana Bujić, and Aldina Muzurović—remain unassigned pending further elections. Additionally, the Council noted the resignation of Srđan Zeković from his position as a judge at the Misdemeanor Court in Podgorica.
The Council also approved a logo and a book of standards for courts regarding the use of the existing judicial portal and the preparation of a new one. Furthermore, a Guide for Access to Information held by the Judicial Council of Montenegro was adopted to align with the Law on Free Access to Information.
