Judith Suminwa inaugurates transport and museum projects in Kisantu
Prime Minister Judith Suminwa Tuluka has inaugurated two major projects in Kisantu, Kongo-Central, aimed at boosting regional economic development and preserving economic history.
In the Madimba territory, a new modern river transport complex was opened on the Inkisi River. Funded through the COPA-TRANSFORME project, the facility includes three boats with a total cargo capacity of 6,700 tonnes. The infrastructure is designed to facilitate the transport of goods, connect production zones to commercial centers, and reduce the isolation of the Madimba territory.
Additionally, a museum dedicated to Congolese entrepreneurship was inaugurated at the VALMASKET commercial complex. Launched by economist Val Masamba, the museum uses sculptures to honor figures who shaped the nation's economy, serving as both a memorial and an educational resource for youth. The VALMASKET complex is noted for supporting approximately 380 local jobs.
