Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton release delayed to 2027

Shueisha Games has announced that the release of Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton has been postponed from 2026 to 2027. The developer stated the delay is intended to allow more time to polish the title and ensure the best possible player experience.

Developed in collaboration with poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors, the game is a survivors-style battle royale for up to eight players. It features a pixel art aesthetic and allows players to use characters from the Jujutsu Kaisen series to battle waves of Cursed Spirits and rival players. Key mechanics include a “Unite Build” system, allowing players to incorporate skills from other characters, and a “Rule Addition” feature to disrupt opponents.

A second trailer has been released, showcasing various playable characters and eight boss characters, including Naoya Zen’in and Kenjaku. The game is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The world's first playable demo will be hosted at the Tokyo Game Show 2026, starting September 17.
