Julia Prastini reappears on social media after etomidate vape case

Social media influencer Julia Prastini, known as Jule, has reappeared on social media following her involvement in a case concerning the misuse of etomidate via vape liquid. In recent Instagram updates from late September 2026, she was seen shopping for clothes, though netizens have noted a significant change in her physical appearance, observing that she appears much thinner than before.

Prastini was detained by the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police on September 14, 2026, at her apartment in Cilandak, South Jakarta. Authorities discovered vape cartridges, some containing etomidate. Following a urine test that returned positive for the substance, she was categorized as a user rather than a dealer, as police found no evidence of distribution or sales.

Based on an assessment, she was recommended for rehabilitation through a restorative justice process. Prastini reportedly cited personal stress as a factor in her substance use.
