Julio José Iglesias defends father amid sexual assault investigation

Julio José Iglesias has spoken out in support of his father, singer Julio Iglesias, following a decision by the National Court Prosecutor's Office to investigate allegations of sexual assault. The investigation stems from complaints filed by two former employees.

While Julio José initially declined to comment on the specific legal proceedings, stating he was focused on his own professional projects, he affirmed that his father is doing well, noting, “He is better than ever, yes, he is very well.”

His sister, Ana Boyer, also addressed the matter, describing the situation as “very complicated,” “uncomfortable,” and “never pleasant,” while expressing hope for a favorable legal resolution for the singer.

Currently, Julio José is performing the ‘Julio Iglesias Experience’ tour across Spain, a tribute to his father's musical legacy, with upcoming dates scheduled through December.
