Jung Hae-in stars in Netflix’s Korean rom‑com ‘Our Sticky Love’

Netflix is set to release the Korean romance series “Our Sticky Love,” starring Jung Hae-in and Ahn Ha-young. The title comes from the Korean idiom “yeot‑like love,” where “yeot” is a traditional sticky candy and also a slang term, a wordplay the actors said attracted them to the project. Jung described the series as a blend of romance, comedy, melodrama, thriller, noir and action, noting the boldness of the title and the “sweet and sticky” metaphor for the couple’s bond. Co‑star Ahn Ha-young echoed the curiosity sparked by the title and highlighted the chemistry between the amnesiac prosecutor Ko Eun‑sae and boxing coach Jang Tae‑ha. Director Kim Jang‑han explained that the idiom serves as a narrative anchor, symbolising a love that is both sweet and enduring. The cast discussed the genre‑shifting script at a Seoul press conference, emphasizing the series’ multifaceted storytelling approach.
