Jungheinrich and Movu Robotics partner for automated warehouse solutions

Jungheinrich and Movu Robotics have entered into a strategic partnership to develop highly automated pallet warehouse solutions. Under the agreement, Jungheinrich will serve as the preferred integrator for Movu’s shuttle systems, while Movu becomes the preferred supplier for Jungheinrich.

The collaboration focuses on integrating four-way shuttle technology, such as the Movu Atlas, directly into the Jungheinrich Warehouse Management System (WMS) and software ecosystem. This integration aims to address rising space costs and the increasing demand for high-density storage in sectors like food and beverage, cold-chain logistics, and third-party logistics (3PL).

By utilizing standardized software interfaces and coordinated service processes, the partnership intends to make shuttle warehouses faster to plan, easier to integrate, and more efficient to operate. The goal is to provide a seamless automated material flow from goods-in to dispatch, orchestrating shuttle systems, conveyor technology, and mobile robots through a single software stack.
