Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios partner on new film slate

Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios have entered into a new partnership to produce a slate of films. The collaboration begins with the crime thriller ‘Daayra’, directed by Meghna Gulzar.

Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran, ‘Daayra’ is inspired by true events. The film explores themes of guilt, punishment, and moral accountability, focusing on the divergence between legal boundaries and public expectations of justice.

The partnership aims to combine Junglee Pictures’ story-driven development approach with Pen Studios’ production and theatrical distribution capabilities within the Indian market.
