Junín Advances Key Phase of Rivadavia Viaduct Underpass

Mayor Juan Fiorini of Junín inspected the Rivadavia viaduct underpass with municipal officials and council members, confirming that the work has entered a critical stage. Construction crews have begun casting the concrete slabs for the two remaining bridges and installing the accompanying railway tracks. The mayor emphasized that the project, long advocated by former mayor Pablo Petrecca and supported by the national government, is progressing on schedule, with the new bridges bringing the overall completion to roughly 60 percent.

Municipal public works officials also highlighted complementary efforts to revitalize the open‑air shopping centre along Avenida Rivadavia, with road resurfacing set to start next week. The completed underpass will provide six railway tracks, improving transit through the city and fostering further urban integration.
