Junín opens ALÓ! shopping center at new bus terminal

The new ALÓ! commercial center has officially opened at the site of the Nueva Terminal de Ómnibus Mario A. Meoni in Junín, located at the intersection of National Route 7 and Avenida Circunvalación. The shopping complex features 23 stores offering clothing, perfumery, decoration, gastronomy, and technology, alongside entertainment options such as a skating rink.

Following the opening, the municipal government replaced the signage identifying the building as the Bus Terminal with the name of the private commercial center, ALÓ!. This modification has raised questions regarding the criteria for using public building identification to promote a private enterprise, particularly as the facility was constructed with public funds. Interim Mayor Juan Fiorini noted that the project represents new investment for the region, aiming to leverage Junín’s role as a commercial and service hub for northwest Buenos Aires province.
