Topuria recently accused Gaethje of loading his gloves prior to their bout, a claim Gaethje dismissed as a tactic for social media engagement and clickbait.

Gaethje also clarified the circumstances surrounding the end of the fight, which took place on the White House South Lawn. While some narratives suggest Topuria quit during the break between rounds, Gaethje stated that Topuria’s coaches made the decision to stop the fight because his body was too compromised to continue, rather than Topuria choosing to quit.

Regarding future matchups, while Topuria is seeking a rematch, Gaethje identified Arman Tsarukyan as the most logical next contender following Tsarukyan’s recent first-round knockout victory.
