Juventus de Mooca announces R$ 480 million stadium renovation
Juventus de Mooca is undertaking a major transformation following its conversion into a Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF). Contea Capital has assumed management of a project to renovate the historic Conde Rodolfo Crespi stadium, known as Rua Javari, with an expected investment of R$ 480 million over ten years.
The project, named Arena Javari, aims to expand capacity from 5,000 to 11,000 spectators for football matches and up to 25,000 for other events. Planned upgrades include expanded side stands, new luxury boxes, and a rooftop. Due to the stadium's status as a protected architectural heritage site, the club has requested Conpresp to revise preservation rules to allow for necessary modernizations.
On the pitch, Juventus recently maintained its lead in Group 3 of the Copa Paulista after a 2-2 draw against Primavera. The result leaves Juventus at the top of the group with seven points from four matches.
