Dusan Vlahovic to leave Juventus on free transfer after contract talks break down

Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic will depart Juventus at the end of June 2026 on a free transfer. Negotiations between the player’s camp and the club collapsed after Juventus offered a €6 million‑per‑year deal, while Vlahovic demanded about €8 million per season. A final meeting at the club’s Continassa facility with the player’s father failed to bridge the gap, leading both sides to announce the separation.

Juventus confirmed the striker’s contract expires on 30 June 2026 and that no further meetings are planned. Club officials, including former defender Giorgio Chiellini, stated: “Under the current salary conditions he will not stay in Italy.” Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio tweeted that “no economic agreement was found, Vlahovic will leave the Old Lady.”

The break‑up leaves Juventus without a key forward and without any transfer fee, prompting the club to explore replacements such as Randal Kolo Muani, Alexander Sorloth and other targets. At the same time, several European clubs – Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Newcastle United and others – have been reported to be monitoring Vlahovic’s availability, although none have submitted a concrete offer yet.
