Juventus pushes for €10 million profit boost and revamps squad under new CEO Carnevali

Juventus appointed Giovanni Carnevali as chief executive and general manager in early June. Within weeks he must secure a €10 million plus‑value by 30 June to comply with UEFA Financial Fair Play and avoid a capital‑increase from owner Exor. The club’s longer‑term goal is to generate roughly €100 million from player trading by the 2026/27 fiscal year, with potential sales of low‑value assets such as Khéphren Thuram, Andrea Cambiaso, Federico Gatti and home‑grown midfielder Fabio Miretti.

At the same time, striker Dusan Vlahovic’s contract expires on 30 June. Juventus has offered an annual extension worth up to €8 million including bonuses, but the player’s camp prefers a move to Turkey and the club says it will not renew the deal. Consequently, Juventus is actively scouting replacements, focusing on Alexander Sorloth and Randal Kolo Muani, while also monitoring alternatives such as Omar Marmoush and Nicolas Jackson. The goalkeeping department is also in flux, with the possible departure of Michele Di Gregorio prompting interest in Guglielmo Vicario and Mattia Martinez.
