Juventus targets Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu

Juventus is reportedly considering a transfer for Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu to address a shortage in their central midfield. The 32-year-old Turkish international has had a strong start to the current season, scoring two goals in his first four appearances.

Despite his performance, negotiations for a contract extension between Çalhanoğlu and Inter Milan have not yet commenced, leaving his future uncertain as he enters the final year of his deal. Juventus faces competition for the player from Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, both of whom have been linked to him in the past.

Financial considerations are a significant factor, as Çalhanoğlu’s current gross annual salary is approximately 11.11 million euros. Juventus' ability to secure the player may also depend on the club's return to the Champions League.
