Juventus targets Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie

Juventus is actively scouting Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie as a potential free‑transfer signing. The 28‑year‑old, who recently featured for Ivory Coast at the World Cup, will become a free agent on 30 June when his contract with Egyptian club Al Ahly expires.

The club’s sporting director has indicated that Kessie’s physicality, tactical intelligence and experience in Serie A suit Luciano Spalletti’s system. Juventus hopes the player could replace or supplement Teun Koopmeiners in midfield.
