Jyotiraditya Scindia reviews proposed Chanderi hospital project

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia inspected the site of a proposed hospital in Chanderi during a three-day visit to the Guna Lok Sabha constituency. The project aims to improve medical access for residents of Chanderi and surrounding areas by providing essential services, including an outpatient department, operation theatre, labour room, emergency ward, and a five-bed neonatal care unit.

Scindia directed officials to maintain quality standards and ensure the project is completed according to the prescribed schedule. The facility is expected to include a 40-bed main ward and various specialized rooms to reduce the need for local residents to travel long distances for treatment.

In addition to the hospital review, Scindia’s visit includes meetings with local communities and the laying of foundation stones for several development projects in Ashoknagar, such as a skill development centre, a sewage treatment plant, and city beautification initiatives.
