K-MEDI Hub signs MOUs for cancer drug and dental device R&D
K-MEDI Hub (Daegu-Gyeongbuk Advanced Medical Industry Foundation) has entered into two separate strategic partnerships to advance medical research and development in South Korea.
In a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with New Cancer Cure Bio, the organizations will collaborate on the development and production of the drug KN510713. This treatment is designed for pancreatic cancer using a combination therapy approach. K-MEDI Hub will provide technical support for process development, formulation research, and the manufacturing of clinical-use drugs to assist in the drug's progression through Phase 2 clinical trials.
Additionally, K-MEDI Hub signed an MOU with Kyung Hee University College of Dentistry to strengthen research and development for dental medical products. The partnership aims to expand preclinical verification platforms, facilitate joint R&D planning for national projects, and encourage the exchange of professional personnel and research equipment. This collaboration is intended to bridge the gap between academic clinical ideas and the commercialization of dental medical devices and biomaterials.
