Kaduna Governor Uba Sani Highlights Infrastructure Gains and Backs Tinubu

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has spoken on several fronts. He praised President Bola Tinubu, saying the president’s projects in infrastructure, agriculture and security have been the most impactful in Northern Nigeria and predicting Tinubu will secure more votes there in the 2027 election. Sani cited specific federal works such as the Abuja‑Kaduna road, the Kaduna‑Birnin Gwari road, fertilizer support, a new federal university and a forthcoming light‑rail project.

At the state level, Sani’s administration has upgraded the Zango Shanu Modern Abattoir and three other slaughter facilities with cold‑room storage, drainage and fencing, actions that butchers say have cut waste, improved hygiene and raised incomes. He also reported the construction of bridges and roads in Zaria and Sabon Gari that connect farming communities to markets, schools and hospitals. Additionally, Sani criticised opposition parties for lacking clear ideology and accused them of opportunistic party‑switching.

These statements underscore a focus on tangible development projects and political positioning ahead of the next national elections.
