Turkish regional chambers of commerce conclude leadership elections
Multiple regional chambers of commerce in Turkey have concluded their leadership and committee elections.
In Konya, the Konya Sanayi Odası (KSO) completed its 14th term elections for professional committees and assembly members. President Mustafa Büyükeğen emphasized the ‘2030 Industrial Vision’ and noted that despite global economic challenges and pandemic-related difficulties, the region remains committed to production.
In Antalya, Berkay Bahar’s ‘Blue List’ secured a majority in the Antalya Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası (ATSO) professional committee elections. Bahar characterized the process as a ‘race for service’ rather than a conflict and called for unity among all candidates.
In Kahramanmaraş, Mustafa Buluntu was re-elected as Chairman of the KMTSO, with his team achieving a 100% success rate across all 29 professional committees.
Other regional updates include the İskenderun Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası (İTSO) determining 57 assembly members across 22 committees, and the Marmaris Ticaret Odası (MTO) seeing the ‘Blue List’ gain dominance in the assembly, while incumbent President Mutlu Ayhan failed to be re-elected to his own committee.
