Political activities and local developments across Turkey

Various political and local government activities are being conducted across several Turkish provinces. In Mersin, the AK Party provincial presidency has launched a program to honor members who have contributed to the party over the last 25 years, involving simultaneous visits across 13 districts.

In Çorum, AK Party officials held a consultative assembly meeting where leadership emphasized organizational unity. Meanwhile, in Manisa, MP Tamer Akkal met with various public institutions, chambers of commerce, and the Bar Association to discuss regional production, exports, and legal professional concerns.

In Kahramanmaraş, the metropolitan municipality continues cultural programs, including discussions on the legacy of thinker Fethi Gemuhluoğlu, while local leaders held meetings with neighborhood mukhtars in Elbistan to address infrastructure and service needs. In Bursa, Deputy Mayor Şahin Biba announced upcoming urban transformation and transportation projects, including new rail line connections and road improvements scheduled for 2027.

In İzmir, CHP officials conducted field studies in the Küçükmenderes Basin, visiting Kiraz and Ödemiş to meet with local producers and transport workers regarding economic challenges. In Zonguldak, İYİ Party leadership visited the General Confederation of Mining Workers to discuss labor rights and the economic importance of the mining sector.
