Kahramanmaraş Opens Major Asphalt Production Facility

The Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality inaugurated a new asphalt production plant in the Afşin district on 27 July at 17:30. The project, funded with an 800 million TL investment and built on a 400‑acre site, is described as the region’s largest asphalt facility.

Equipped with hot‑mix production and equipment to prepare base and infrastructure materials, the plant will supply asphalt to the northern districts of Afşin, Elbistan, Ekinözü and Nurhak, with additional support for Göksun and Andırın. The municipality expects the facility to accelerate road construction, maintenance and renewal projects across the area.
