Kahramanmaraş Begins Hot‑Asphalt Works on Sanayi Kavşağı Project

The Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality, in partnership with the General Directorate of Highways, has launched a 500 million TL hot‑asphalt laying on the Sanayi Kavşağı segment of the Doğu Çevre Yolu. The work covers roughly 2 km of roadway and will employ about 47 000 tonnes of hot asphalt.

The development also includes two newly constructed bridges—each 370 m long and 9 m wide—completed earth‑works, and pedestrian barriers. The upgrades aim to ease city traffic, provide safer and continuous access to the industrial zone, and stimulate local production and trade. Mayor Fırat Görgel thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu for their support.
