Fatal shootings reported in Kent, Washington and Kailua, Hawaii

Authorities are investigating two separate fatal shooting incidents in the United States.

In Kent, Washington, two young males, believed to be in their late teens or early 20s, were killed in a targeted drive-by shooting on September 28. The incident occurred near the Interstate 5 overpass on South 272nd Street. Witnesses reported a dark-colored sedan pulling alongside the victims' vehicle and firing multiple rounds before fleeing southbound on I-5. In Kailua, Hawaii, a second-degree murder investigation is underway following a shooting at a Target parking lot on September 26. The incident occurred during the Kailua Fall Festival.
