Roland Kaiser adds Munich concert as Kaisermania tickets sell out and TV broadcast ends

Schlagersänger Roland Kaiser announced an additional arena concert in Munich for his "Unser Moment" tour, with tickets on sale from 5 August. The show will take place on 9‑10 April 2027 at the Olympiahalle.

In Dresden, Kaiser’s annual "Kaisermania" series at the Elbufer has become a summer highlight. Four sold‑out performances between 31 July and 8 August 2026 attracted roughly 12 000 fans each night, with a total of about 50 000 tickets sold in just one hour for the opening night. The 2026 edition will not be broadcast live on MDR television, a decision made jointly with the promoter after criticism of previous broadcast sound quality.

TV entertainer Thomas Hermanns, appearing on WDR’s "Kölner Treff", criticised the prospect of a musical based on Kaiser’s songs, calling many of them “sex or alcohol” and saying he could not imagine staging them. Kaiser also commented on the changing nature of the Schlager industry, describing it as “more business‑like, like colleagues in a large company.”
