Roland Kaiser 2026 tour adds Munich date, 2027 tours planned

Following the late‑July addition of an open‑air concert in Hannover and the rapid sell‑out of the four‑night Kaisermania series in Dresden, the tour continued to draw massive crowds into early August. The Dresden shows, held between 31 July and 8 August, again sold out within an hour, confirming demand of roughly 12,000 fans per night and about 50,000 tickets overall.

For the first time the concerts will not be broadcast live on MDR television, a decision made jointly with the promoter after criticism of previous broadcast sound quality. Television entertainer Thomas Hermanns publicly criticised Kaiser’s repertoire, describing the songs as “sex or alcohol” and declined to develop a musical based on his work. Kaiser responded that the Schlager industry is becoming more business‑like, likening it to “colleagues in a large company.”

In response to the strong demand, three additional arena dates were added in Germany – Hannover, Oberhausen and Munich – with tickets for the Munich show going on sale on 5 August 2026 at prices ranging from €109.90 to €149.90. The Munich concert is scheduled for 9‑10 April 2027 at the Olympiahalle.

Building on a summer tour that reached approximately 350,000 fans, Kaiser has announced his ‘UNSER SOMMERMOMENT – Open Air 2027’ tour, featuring 11 outdoor dates with pre-sales starting 26 August 2026. This follows the announcement of his ‘UNSER MOMENT’ arena tour, which will consist of 21 concerts across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The 2027 open-air tour includes a confirmed performance at the Waldbühne Berlin on 21 August 2027. A presale for specific Commerzbank and comdirect Visa cardholders will begin on 24 August 2026. Upcoming milestones for the artist include the release of ‘ROLAND – DER FILM’ in February, his 75th birthday in May, and new music slated for release next year.
