Kaito Takahashi to release first solo EP ‘SALT BOY’ as KAITO

Kaito Takahashi, a member of the group King & Prince, has announced the release of his first solo EP, titled ‘SALT BOY’, under the solo moniker KAITO. The EP is scheduled for release on November 25, 2026.

Theme-centered around the sea, the project is a highly creative endeavor in which Takahashi is credited with writing and composing all tracks, as well as handling the artwork and music video production. This follows the success of his debut digital single ‘swim?’, which reached number one on the Oricon weekly digital single rankings and surpassed 5 million views on its music video.

To celebrate the launch, a series of events will be held across five cities in Japan: Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Tokyo. Fans can participate via the King & Prince fan club, and an early reservation campaign will offer serial codes for online viewing of the Tokyo event.
