Kalamata International Puppet Theatre Festival concludes

The 10th Kalamata International Puppet Theatre Festival is concluding its program with several featured performances and events.

On Sunday, October 18, the festivities include the poetic performance ‘The Boy with the Magic Fingers’ by the Antama Pantachou team at the Spiritual Center. Later, at 18:00, UNIMA Hellas will present ‘The Giant Tiger in the Steps of the City’ on the pedestrian walkway outside the Spiritual Center, accompanied by the rhythm of the Kymvala percussion group. The festival will conclude with a concert at the Railway Park featuring musicians Giannis Diskos and Christos Poulakidas.

Earlier scheduled events included workshops by Stefania Avraam and performances by the Anima team, supported by the French Embassy and French Institute. International contributions were also featured, such as the Spanish group Rekupolis presenting ‘The Opera of Misfortune’ and Peppa’s Puppets performing ‘Dial with it’. All festival events are free to the public.
