Kalanoro action-adventure game released by Red Raketa Studio

Red Raketa Studio, an independent developer based in Madagascar, has released Kalanoro, an action-adventure game inspired by Malagasy folklore. The title is co-published by New Tales, with SEGA handling distribution across Asia.

Set on the island of Lemuria, the game follows the character Kalakely, a Kalanoro creature tasked with defeating the witch Raneny. Players must rescue lemur musicians, manage a band, and navigate various environments using platforming, combat, and musical elements. The gameplay incorporates unique mechanics such as hair-based powers and the use of improvised weapons like frying pans.

Kalanoro is available on Windows (Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. A free demo is currently available on Steam.
