Kallithea, Greece: 15-year-old fatally stabbed in gang clash

On the night of 24 June 2026 a violent clash between rival youth groups erupted in the Kallithea district of Athens. The incident ended when a 17‑year‑old assailant delivered a single knife wound just below the victim’s heart, killing a 15‑year‑old boy. Police say the motive involved fan‑group rivalries and previous disputes between the groups. In addition to the seven detainees, the case file includes 18 parents charged with failure to supervise their children.
