Kamala Harris returns to campaign trail for Democratic candidates

Former Vice President Kamala Harris has returned to the campaign trail, appearing in Michigan to support Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed. Her efforts aim to bolster support among Black voters, though her appearances have drawn criticism from some within the Democratic Party.

During a recent appearance on ‘Off Air with Big Boy,’ Harris discussed artificial intelligence and algorithms, using an analogy involving yellow and pink flowers to describe how algorithms target user interests. Some critics characterized her explanations as confusing.

In Michigan, Harris’s comments regarding the needs of Black birthing people were met with scrutiny. Additionally, some Democratic candidates and operatives have expressed reluctance regarding her involvement in midterm races, citing concerns over her polling numbers and rhetorical style.
